Moving Photos between the server and the iPads using "Webdav Navigator"

Checklist: Webdav needs to be setup on your Windows server or Mac server. (technicians job).

Webdav Navigator needs to be installed on your iPads. (Free app at the time of writing this post). You may need guidance from your technician on how to create the link to your Webdav Folders on the Server

a) Copy the photos you want the children to use to one of the Webdav folders on the Server. (Your technician can create you a shortcut to this folder on your laptop/desktop.)

b) Open Webdav Navigator on the iPad.

c) Select your WebDav folder containing the photos by navigating to it. Click the webdav writing in this example to get you started.

 
d) Once you are in the folder where the photos are stored click on the Slide Show Icon highlighted above by a RED Arrow.
 
e) Once the slid show option opens, each photo opens individually, at this point you need to find the photo you want (by sliding your finger to the left or right on the iPad) and then press the Home Button and the Power Switch at the same time to create a Snap Shot of the screen the snaphots go into the Camera Roll.
 
 
f) Once the photos are in the camera roll they can be used in many of the other Apps such as Puppet Pals.

Moving Photos/Video from an iPad Camera Roll to the Server using "WebDav Navigator"

Checklist: Webdav needs to be setup on your Windows server or Mac server. (technicians job).

Webdav Navigator needs to be installed on your iPads. (Free app at the time of writing this post). You may need guidance from your technician on how to create the link to your Webdav Folders on the Server

a) Create photos, Snap shots of your work so they appear in the Camera Roll folder on the iPad.

b) Open the app WebDav Navigator on the iPad and browse to the folder you would like to save your work in. See last post if you are unsure how to do this.

 
c) Click the Icon highlghted by the Green Arrow.
 
d) Browse to the Camera Roll and select the photo you would like to upload.
 
 
e) Rename your image and click upload.
 
f) Using Webdav you can take Photos with the camera and upload them immediately to the server. To do this repeat step a and b and then click on the icon highlighted by the Orange Arrow.
